There is no team. There is me.
I started STAASH because I wanted a board I would actually use. Everything I could buy was black plastic, loud branding, built for a gym floor. Nothing I wanted to look at every day.
So I drew one. Birch deck, cork roller, no logos shouting. I ordered a first batch, sold it, and kept going. Today more than 15,000 pieces have shipped — boards, yoga sets and cork discs — and I still answer the emails myself.

Birch and cork. No black plastic, no foam that crumbles after two winters. You can see what it is made of.

If it is ugly it goes in a cupboard, and in a cupboard nobody trains. Everything I make is meant to live in the room you actually use.

How it went
- 2022 The first board I could not find a balance board I wanted to leave out in my living room. So I drew the first STAASH.
- 2023 It sold out The first run was gone. Amazon Germany, then France.
- 2024 The full kit Cork roller, half-moon and mat. The kit becomes the method.
- 2025 15,000 pieces 15,000 pieces delivered. The training app ships with every board.
- 2026 Direct, in three languages staash.eu opens direct. The UK and Sweden follow.
WHY STAASH
Birch, not plastic
Twelve plies of varnished birch, 79 × 39 cm, rated to 150 kg. It takes a beating and it still looks like furniture.
Cork does the work
The roller, the half-moon and the ball are 100% natural cork. Grippy when your feet are damp, quiet on a wooden floor, and it does not smell like a gym.
Out, not away
Nobody trains with equipment they have to fetch. Leave it by the sofa and two minutes happen on their own.

Who is behind STAASH?
One person. I design the products and answer every email myself. There is no support desk and no ticket number — when you write, you reach the person who makes the decisions.
Where is everything made?
Designed in France, in our Paris studio, and manufactured by a long-standing partner workshop. Every batch is checked before it ships. Ask me about a specific product and I will tell you exactly.
Why cork and birch, and not plastic?
Because you leave them out. Plastic gear looks like gym equipment, so it ends up in a cupboard. Cork and birch age well, feel good barefoot, and stay in the living room.
What if something breaks?
Write to me. Every product carries a lifetime warranty, and if something fails in normal use we sort it out. Cork marks with time — that is the material living, not a fault.
